Andrew Kiggundu

Dr. Andrew Kiggundu is a Senior Research Officer (Biotechnologist) and currently the Head of the Biodiversity and Biotechnology program. He holds a PhD in Plant Biotechnology from the University of Pretoria South Africa, an MSc. in Plant breeding from the University of Orange Free State USA, and a BSc. in Botany/Zoology from Makerere University. Dr.Andrew Kiggundu has participated in a number of both National and International Conferences worldwide on Biotechnology. He is a member of the Following: Editorial board of UJAS, NARO, Member of Uganda Biotechnology and Biosafety Consortium (UBBC), Member Editorial Committee Journal of Transgenic Research, Member National Drug Authority Clinical Trials Review Board, Dr. Kiggundu has co-authored in more than 30 papers and 3 chapters in recognized publications, co-supervised and trained 6 MSc and 4 PhD students.
