Eng. Florence Kiyimba

Dr. Eng. Florence Lubwama Kiyimba is a Senior Research Officer and currently the Head of the Bio-systems and Agricultural Engineering Program. She is a registered Engineer with the Uganda Engineers Registration Board and a corporate member of the Uganda Institution of Profession Engineers. She won the second prize in the 3rd African-Wide Women and Young Professionals in Science Competition 2012/13 that evaluates, recognizes and rewards the contributions of women and young professionals in science. She holds a PhD in Gender and Technology Development from Wageningen University, Netherlands, an MSc. in Agricultural Engineering from University of Nairobi, Kenya and a BSc. in Agricultural Engineering from Makerere University. She has published widely.
